Phlebotomus kandelakii s.l. Shchurenkova, 1929
Subgenus: Larroussius Nitzulescu, 1931
Male kandelakii s.l. is distinguished from the other Larroussious males by its long parameral sheath (aedegus) with ventral teeth in the middle. P. kandelakii s.l. comprises two morphologically similar taxa: P. kandelakii and P. burneyi. The specific discrimination between the males of these two species mainly relies on the antennal formula, is difficult.
